Description

HastelloyX alloy is a nickel-based superalloy with high iron content strengthened by chromium and molybdenum solution. It has good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, moderate to creep strength below 900℃, and good formability and weldability during cold and hot processing.Suitable for the manufacture of aero-engine combustor components and other high-temperature components, long-term use below 900℃, short-term working temperature up to 1080℃.Alloys that can withstand certain stresses and have oxidation or corrosion resistance at high temperatures of 600 ~ 1200℃.According to the matrix elements, it can be divided into iron base superalloy, nickel base superalloy and cobalt base superalloy.According to the preparation process, it can be divided into deformation superalloy, casting superalloy and powder metallurgy superalloy.According to the strengthening mode, there are solid solution strengthening, precipitation strengthening, oxide dispersion strengthening and fiber strengthening, etc. (see metal strengthening).Superalloys are mainly used to manufacture high temperature components such as turbine blades, guide blades, turbine discs, high-pressure compressor discs and combustion chambers of gas turbines for aviation, naval vessels and industry.Also used in the manufacture of space vehicles, rocket engines, nuclear reactors, petrochemical equipment and coal conversion and other energy conversion devices.
