S32760 (F55, 1.4501) is a high alloy super duplex stainless steel designed for use in a wide range of highly corrosive environments.S32760 dual phase steel has strong strength and corrosion resistance and is mainly used in chemical processing, petrochemical and subsea equipment.It has strong chloride corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion.High chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen content make it highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and other corrosion.S32760 duplex steel has superior comprehensive properties to general duplex steel, such as 2205 and S31803.
S32760 dual-phase steel can withstand various inorganic and organic acids, and the added copper element makes it have excellent resistance to non-oxidizing acid corrosion. S32760 is also resistant to strong alkali corrosion. However, S32760 dual-phase steel is not suitable for long-term operation temperature above 300℃, because the toughness of the material will decrease significantly above this temperature.
